About

Hi, I'm Tom.

A Chartered Chemical Process Engineer who got tired of watching peptide science get buried under hype on one side and jargon on the other.

For the first decade of my career I did hands-on technical engineering — process and systems modelling, CFD, dynamic and steady-state simulation — mostly on oil & gas projects. These days I work on the commercial side, turning around underperforming engineering projects. Either way, the mindset never changed: get the mechanism right before you get excited about the outcome, and never trust a number you can't verify.

That's exactly the lens I bring to peptides. On Peptide Corner I explain biology the way I'd explain a chemical process — your body as a plant, a peptide as a signal moving through it, quality control at every step. It's what makes this different from a doctor or a bodybuilder-influencer covering the same compounds.

What Peptide Corner stands for

The whole channel is a reaction against hype-driven peptide content. So the rules are simple, and they're not negotiable:

The hard lines No medical claims — I'm not a doctor. No dosage recommendations, even when I'm citing a study's dose. And I never point you to a specific vendor or source. Even the sourcing-safety content teaches evaluation skills, not shopping directions.

Why I started it

I've trained almost every day since I was a teenager — I'm 42 now, still in the gym before dawn most mornings. As my metabolism slowed, I got genuinely interested in the science of what does and doesn't work, and how to tell the two apart. Peptides were booming, mostly badly explained, and I happened to have the exact background to fix that. So I stopped procrastinating and started filming.

It's a brand-new channel, and I'm honest about that. Every subscriber genuinely helps it grow — and helps me keep making this.

keep safe, keep skeptical.
